Division 1 – OPTICAL THIN FILMS
We can meet your needs for optical thin-film deposition, the creation of interferential optical filters, optical property measurements (transmission, reflection), and surface characterization (flatness deviation, roughness). Scientific Manager: Julien Lumeau
Division 2 – POWER PHOTONICS
The power photonics platform consists of a set of tools, notably for characterizing optical components subjected to high laser fluxes. The sources used cover continuous, ns, ps, and fs regimes. Wavelengths range from UV to IR. In addition to a variety of sources, specific diagnostic and characterization tools are employed to analyze laser-matter interactions. Scientific Manager: Laurent Gallais
Division 3 – IMAGING
We offer a range of instruments, innovative data acquisition methodologies, and analysis tools in microscopy, primarily developed for life sciences research. Polarization-resolved microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and coherent endoscopy (CARS / SRS), nonlinear, quantitative phase, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, etc. Scientific Manager: Hervé Rigneault
The “Espace Photonique”: Dedicated to Experimental Optics and Photonics
This is a unique space in France for the production of optical thin-film-based components. It includes a 250 m² set of cleanrooms (Class 10,000) and gray rooms (Class 100,000) dedicated to the fabrication and characterization of interferential optical filters. The premises also house instrumental development rooms dedicated to imaging and power photonics. See the feature on the “Espace Photonique” on the GOMET newspaper website
