Inauguration of PERTINENCE project – Marseille ‘s part” on Monday, February 9 at 02:00 p.m.
This concerns the inauguration of major scientific facilities PERTINENCE – DévelopPEment des centRales de Technologie de la régioN Sud ProvENCE (Development of Technology Centers in the South Provence Region) – on the Saint Jérôme campus in Marseille.
Stemming from the 2021-2027 State-Region Plan Contract, the PERTINENCE project aims to equip the Southern Region’s technology platforms with the micro- and nanofabrication facilities needed to carry out research and development projects in high-impact applied fields such as telecommunications, energy, and health, and will offer a diverse range of services.

With regard to the Fresnel Institute, the Photonics platform has state-of-the-art equipment, particularly for the development of complex filters based on optical thin films. The objective of the HELIOS project for our laboratory was to take advantage of new advances in magnetron sputtering technology for the development of complex multilayer stacks and to expand our range of optical thin film deposition techniques, particularly those compatible with semiconductors and 8-inch wafers.
