Research subjectsI am interested in the study and applications of electromagnetic
resonance phenomena in wavelength-scaled structured components. The
electromagnetic modes are either guided modes in dielectric structures, or
cavity modes, or surface plasmons in metallic structures (plasmonics). The
application fields are, among others, telecommunications (spectral filtering,
single photon emission…), bio-photonics (molecule detection…), the Environment
(gas spectroscopic analysis…), lasers (10µm sources…). I am studying especially
resonant gratings (diffraction grating etched on top of a planar waveguide) for
narrow-band filtering (ANR-PNano project FOREAC) and metallic nano-holes for
single molecule detection. Publications
