All the attendees will be hosted on site, in the different buildings constituting the IGESA center in Porquerolles. One of these buildings, at the vicinity of the beach, hosts a conference room where all the lectures will be given.

Students will be hosted in doble bedrooms. Postdocs, senior researchers, industrial partners and invited speakers will be hosted in single bedrooms, unless they come accompagied.

Venue

The school will be organized in the conference center named IGESA, on the island of Porquerolles. To get there, you have first to reach the small harbor named La Tour Fondue and then take a boat shuttle to reach the island. Finally, you have to walk 10 min on the island to reach the IGESA center. Here are more details regarding how you can proceed.

How to reach La Tour Fondue...

... by car

Follow your GPS until La Tour Fondue. This is where you are supposed to take the boat shuttle to Porquerolles. You can park your car at La Tour Fondue. There are two parkings, Parking INDIGO and Parking Des Îles. We strongly advise you to opt for the Parking INDIGO (link). It is more secure and less expensive (16.25 €/day).

... by train

By train, you have to get down at the SNCF train station named 'Hyères les Palmiers'. It is 1 h 20 min from Marseille (around 15 €), 4 h 20 min from Paris (around 100 €). Go to the sncf website to make a reservation (link).

Once arrived at the train station, you have to take the bus n°67 to La Tour Fondue, end of the line (link).

... by flight

By flight, you have to reach the Toulon-Hyères Airport. It is located at 8 km from La Tour Fondue. Then, you can either take the bus (40 min), take a taxi (16 min), or walk (1 h 30 min)...

Shuttle from La Tour Fondue to Porquerolles

To get on the island, the participants have to buy a return trip ticket (22 €). Here is the website for more information:

On Sunday, 17th of October, boats depart from la Tour Fondue at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 13:30, 14:30, 15:30, 17:00, 18:00.

On Friday, 22nd of October, boats depart from Porquerolles at 8:30, 9:30, 11:30, 14:00.
