Thematic School From the First to the Second Quantum Revolution – Theory & Applications
From Monday, June 9, to Thursday, June 12, 2025
at Peyresq, France
Objectives of the School : The second quantum revolution builds on key concepts of quantum mechanics—superposition, entanglement, and measurement—to drive the emergence of advanced technologies in quantum information, quantum metrology, and quantum optics. This thematic school will offer participants an in-depth training at the intersection of theoretical advances and recent technological developments.
The school will feature lectures by leading experts, complemented by interactive discussions. The goal is to explore the connections between fundamental research and real-world applications, with a strong focus on recent breakthroughs. Designed for Master’s and PhD students, the program will provide a stimulating environment for scientific exchange and knowledge enhancement.
