Aims and scopes

This workshop is intended to gather scientists from all over the world to discuss the recent advances in Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy and related methods, from fundamental concepts to applications.

Location, travel, practical informations

Cargese is a small town located about 50 km north of Ajaccio (Corsica, France), that is conveniently reached via shuttle service from Ajaccio international airport (AJA). The workshop will take place at the Institut d’Etudes Scientifiques de Cargese, which is specialized in organizing international conferences and provides all facilities.

Registration fees

The workshop fees include shuttle transfer from/to Ajaccio airport, accomodation in the conference center or in the village of Cargese, lunches, coffee breaks, and the conference dinner.

* PhD students will be accomodated in twin rooms.

Cancellations received between September 1st and September 30th will be charged 50% of the registration fee.
Cancellations received after October 1st will be charged 75% of the registration fee.

Call for abstract

Participants are invited to submit abstracts on new research in FCS and related methods. Based on the topics a few contributions will be selected for oral presentation. The other contributions will be presented as a poster. The abstract should be prepared according to the abstract guideline below.

Abstract template

The abstract can be submitted either using the on-line registration form or directly by e-mail as a MSWord (DOC or RTF) document to ZeissFCS2009@fresnel.fr not later than 20th July 2009. Please indicate if your preference : oral or poster.

The maximum size of the posters is : Height 1189 mm Width 841 (this is A0 format).
