Advanced theoretical and numerical methods for waves in structured media

The program proposes to address the exotic properties of waves in novel structures – such as metamaterials and photonic or phononic components – through the renewal of theoretical and numerical approaches they require. These days are intended to discuss recent issues and research advances in these areas, with all different communities involved: electromagnetics, acoustics, mechanics, applied mathematics and computing sciences.
