"Ultrafast 2D and 3D optical spectroscopy. Its implementation and applications"
Abstract :
We will report on our efforts in implementing ultrafast coherent two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) electronic spectroscopy. 2D spectroscopy is applied to study the excitonic energy transfer pathway of Light Harvesting Complex II and the spectral diffusion dynamics of chlorophyll a molecules. 3D optical spectroscopy is the latest addition to the multidimensional optical spectroscopy family. We will report on our efforts in the first ever implementation of purely absorptive 3D electronic spectroscopy.
