Mireille Commandré is a Professor at Ecole Centrale Marseille. At the Fresnel Institute (UMR CNRS 7249), head of research team ILM, "Laser Matter Interaction", previously head of “High power photonics and random media” from 2000 to 2012. PhD in materials for microelectronics in 1981 and Docteur d’Etat degree in 1992 with a dissertation on photothermal characterization of optical coatings.
- Research interests include optical characterization, optical thin films, laser-induced damage in optical materials, electromagnetic modelization and microstructured optical components.
