MMS2017 General Chair’s Welcome

MMS2017 General Chair’s Welcome

M’hamed DRISSI , Conference General Chair
INSA/IETR (France)

Since 2000, MMS has served as a leading Mediterranean Symposium in RF-micro-wave devices and antenna systems for the exchange of fundamental research results and technological advances.

MMS has a long tradition in showcasing pioneering technology, envisioning the future of sustainable development and applications for energy harvesting.

MMS 2017 will carry on this tradition, providing fertile ground for leading engineers and scientists from Mediterranean countries and beyond to collaboratively accelerate the research frontiers within the field in order to address societal challenges.

In addition to the invited talks, the technical program committee will select original and unpublished works.

You may also consider vacationing in Marseille before or after the conference. Known to the ancient Greeks and Romans as Massalia, the city was the most important trading centre in the Mediterranean region and the main commercial port. Marseille is listed as a major centre of art and history. It has many museums and galleries and there are many ancient buildings and churches of historical interest, many activities for you and your family to enjoy.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Marseille.
